A.Martinez is an interdisciplinary visual and social practice artist, poet, and facilitator living in Chicago. A.Martinez received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Writing Program and her work explores rituals, grief, ecology, and motherhood. She released TURN, an artist book of poems, prints, and an accompanying cassette tape, in 2025. In addition to her creative work, A.Martinez works as an arts administrator for music performance organizations. She enjoys spending time with her son exploring the world around them.
