Akua Amponsah is a rising junior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Double majoring in Biology and Global Studies, she has an interest in urban agriculture and eradicating food deserts in inner-city communities.
In the past she has done research on frogs in southern Florida and data collection with sea turtles. As a biology technician, she hopes to use the research skills and tools she has acquired in her academic career.
