Dr. Christina N. Zdenek is an ecologist and herpetologist dedicated to using science and communication to improve the relationship between humans and wildlife. She has devoted 18 years to working with Indigenous mobs on Cape York Peninsula to better understand, manage, and conserve Australia’s only tool-using parrot, the Palm Cockatoo.
