Clare Palmer is currently Professor of Philosophy at Texas A&M University. She has worked in environmental and animal ethics for several decades, and held the position of President of the International Society for Environmental Ethics from 2007-2010. She and Peter Sandoe, with their co-author Sandra Corr, published the book Companion Animal Ethics (Wiley Blackwell) in 2015.
