The goal should not be to create a community for all, but rather to empower the many to create communities they want to belong to, where they can meet their own needs locally. The global community that we have now is one designed by a few to ensure that the community serves their wants. Until the many can come together to figure out a way to put the few in check, than we are stuck with this one global community that will ultimately destroy the planet. So the bottom line is control the alpha’s who dominate the rest, and the rest will then be able to figure out what kind of a community they need locally to thrive, and then put it into action. At least that is where I am at when it comes to building community.
I repeat – The goal should not be to create a community for all, but rather to empower the many to create communities they want to belong to, where they can meet their own needs locally.
And I rerepeat – The goal should not be to create a community for all, but rather to empower the many to create communities they want to belong to, where they can meet their own needs locally. The global community that we have now is one designed by a few to ensure that the community serves their wants. Until the many can come together to figure out a way to put the few in check, than we are stuck with this one global community that will ultimately destroy the planet.
