Deb Brandt

Grief Educator and Writer

Everything changes. Life losses are full-body experiences impacting all aspects of our lives. A master’s degree in religious studies, certificates in grief and death studies, creative grief coaching, funeral celebrant services, and training as a health and wellness coach inform Deb’s practices.

Deb’s career has spanned environmental education, teacher training, public speaking, and creating and facilitating professional development programming. She is a dynamic educator who brings a unique capacity for listening to collaborations that create spaces for wholehearted living . She has served families as a funeral celebrant, worked with individuals who are growing beyond their grief, and has written for diverse publications on topics ranging from sustainable living to beekeeping.

The natural world, cycles of change visible in the seasons and the energy of living along the White River in Indianapolis, is deeply connected to the spiritual influences in Deb’s work and life.
