Holly A. Heyser is a hunter, sometime forager, writer, and photographer who lives in Sacramento, California. After a nineteen-year career in newspapers, primarily covering politics, she taught journalism for seven years at her alma mater, Sacramento State, and now works as editor of the magazine California Waterfowl. She is the primary photographer for the James Beard Foundation Award-winning Hunter Angler Gardener Cook (honest-food.net) and a columnist for Shotgun Life. Links to her work are at hollyheyser.com.
