J. Philip Grygny, PhD, is an independent researcher and humanities generalist as well as a performing artist who has performed in, directed, and created many original works. He is interested in ecological culture at key intersections of science, art, and contemplative practice. He’s studied meditation with Tibetan and American teachers for over forty years, as well as teaching and giving meditation instruction. In 2017 he founded The Performance Ecology Project to explore practices that deepen our sense of relationship to the living world and create ecological culture.
