John Harrington

Poet and Author

John Harrington lives with his wife and their two dogs at the eastern edge of 23,000 acres of Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area in Minnesota. He writes poetry, nonfiction (sometimes creative), and takes photographs to reflect the beauty and wonder of Minnesota’s everyday special places.

He is a graduate of Boston College with a major in English. His work was included as an inspiring poet in the book Flat Earth Diary, and can or will be found in Digging to the Roots (2014 Edition), Talking Stick 23, Prairie Sampler (2012 Winner: Prairie Poetry Prize), and Minneapolis Star Tribune.
