Jon Daniels served as controller for the Center for Humans and Nature for over 12 years before his retirement in 2022. He also served as controller for several other nonprofit organizations. He is a certified public accountant with over thirty years experience in managing the financial activities of service companies and nonprofit organizations. He was controller of Openlands Project for 14 years. Prior to his nonprofit work, he was an audit manager at Price Waterhouse for eight years.
Jon was a senior faculty member at Keller Graduate School of Management where he has taught courses in accounting, auditing, finance, budgeting, and project cost management for thirty-five years.
Jon graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in business and from Northwestern University with a Master’s degree in business.
Jon is active member of the Society for American Baseball Research and a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. He attends over fifty baseball games each year. He is also the co-host of the weekly podcast the Bro Show. He enjoys bike riding and has commuted on his bicycle for twenty-five years.
