Joshua Mabie is professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he researches and teaches environmental and nineteenth-century American literature. He also co-owns, with his wife Kerstin, Pied Beauty Farm, an organic apple orchard, apiary, and flower farm.
