Karen Jacobs is Associate Professor of English at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is the author of The Eye’s Mind: Literary Modernism and Visual Culture (Cornell, 2001), and her work has appeared in such journals as Narrative, NOVEL, Twentieth-Century Literature, GLQ, and The Journal of Visual Culture. She is completing two books: Trace Atlas: Itineraries of Literary Space “After” Postmodern; and Afterimages: Nabokov • Sebald • Cole.
