Martin Lee Mueller, PhD, is a philosopher, storyteller, and author of the award-winning Being Salmon, Being Human. He is the General Secretary of the Arne Næss Foundation. His research and creative practice involve indigenous cosmologies, human-animal studies, and the phenomenology of perception. The water bodies he is most drawn to are the Oslo Fjord and the Akerselva River, which once suffered a fatal chlorine spill but now sees salmon spawn again every autumn, right in the heart of Oslo.
