Dear Reader,
This month, artist Lydia Cheshewalla was in residency at the Center for Humans & Nature, making artwork that will soon be exhibited at Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods in Riverwoods, Illinois.
As part of the Center for Humans & Nature’s residency program, stories from the land, which bridges Humans & Nature Farm and Humans & Nature Press, each resident creates a piece of work based on their experience with the land at the Center.
In the coming weeks, we’ll return here to share a selection of Lydia Cheshewalla’s work, which will be published by Humans & Nature Press Digital.
In the meantime, we’re delighted to introduce you to Lydia Cheshewalla and to invite you to an Opening Reception and Artist Talk atBrushwood Center at Ryerson Woods on Sunday, September 7th, which will feature work created by Lydia during her residency at the Center for Humans & Nature.
Please register here by this Friday, August 29th.
