Rebecca R Burrill, EdD, is founder/director of ecologically grounded arts organization Horsechestnut Winds®: Arts and Learning thru Movement. She is a dancer, artistic director, teaching artist, and movement-based child developmentalist and educator. Her work focuses on the aesthetics of first perceptions—movement-sound—as primary language, the language of human kinship with Nature. She engages people of all ages and walks of life in the experience of these deep body-heart-mind processes, culminating in community, site-specific, ceremonial performance. Her most recent publication is Art as Ecology: A mutual nod. http://horsechestnutwinds.com/
