Shannon is the Operations and Finance Manager for the Center for Humans & Nature, ensuring facilities and business functions run smoothly. Shannon’s work is a critical “backbone” role that supports every aspect of the Center’s mission — from preparing the buildings for events and residencies, to being a trusted point of contact for collaborators and contractors. She follows in the footsteps of her mother, Sandy Quinn, who was the Center’s Office Manager. Sandy and Paul Quinn worked with three generations of the Donnelley family as the managers of Windblown Hill, offering care on a daily basis and across the years for the land and buildings, a portion of which is now home to the Center for Humans & Nature in Libertyville, IL.
When Shannon is not busy at work caring for Humans & Nature, she can be found at her store, “LCB Home,” located in Lake Villa on Rt. 83. She runs the store with her husband Frank who specializes in custom furniture and home decor made from reclaimed wood. She also runs a salon studio out of her home in Lake Villa. She has been hairdressing for 24 years.
