Stu Nolan is a queer writer born between the mountain buttes and desert brine of Salt Lake City. They have a deep love for growing things, going on tangents, and sharing intimate conversations with strangers. Driven by the radical potential of stories, they are interested in how we move through and are moved by narratives across all mediums. Their work explores internal and external landscapes, and the messy and magical dynamics between them. The human equivalent of a run on sentence, their favorite utensils are the question mark and the spoon. Their first chapbook, “For The Compost,” won the 2022 Flume Press Chapbook Contest.
