Wes Jackson is cofounder and President of The Land Institute in Salina, Kansas.
He is the author of several books and papers including Consulting the Genius of the Place: An Ecological Approach to a New Agriculture, New Roots for Agriculture, and Becoming Native to This Place. Jackson is the recipient of several awards including the Pew Conservation Scholars award, a MacArthur Fellowship, and the Right Livelihood Award (Stockholm), known as the “Alternative Nobel Prize.”
